After we spotted the AT&T Galaxy Tab 4 at FCC, another US carrier Verizon Wireless is all set to officially sell the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 through its retail channels. This tablet will be launched at a very competitive price challenging out the likes of Nexus 7 there. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 will be available on contract for $379.99. Nearly $100 could be saved by the customers for a two year agreement.
Verizon is now flaunting this gadget as a family oriented tablet which comes with multi-user support. Verizon users can grab the More Everything plan can grab the tablet for additional $10 thereby continuing to use its available data cap.
Taking a quick look at its specs, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 comes with 8 inch display having 1280×800 pixel resolution, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot, Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Its back hosts a 3MP camera while the front a 1.3MP camera shooter. The battery capacity for the device stands to 4,400mAh. The device at Verizon is likely to support Verizon’s XLTE services.
