Most of the music nerds across the globe must be knowing about Marshall, the company that makes world-class amplifiers which are even used by most of the bands across the globe. Now the same company is planning to come with its own Android handset, as the flexibility with Android OS would let them give the liberty to make a desirable handset as per their vision. Undoubtedly this would be a music centric handset from the company.
The smartphone would be called as London would be having a 4.7” HD IPS-LCD display baked with a 64-bit Qualcomm chipset most probably the quad-core Snapdragon 410. It would be supported with 2GB of RAM memory, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. To its back would be a 8MP primary camera and the front would be having a 2MP secondary camera. The device would be having a decent battery back-up of 2550mAh. The handset is said to be 9.8mm thick weighing just 145 grams.
As said the major USP of the handset is it would be equipped with two ACC stereo speakers with “enhanced volume and bass”. It would also be having two MEMS mics with active noise cancellation, a dedicated “M-button” and a volume wheel. The Marshall London would be equipped with Wolfson WM8281 Audio Hub for the cleanest, strongest sound possible. The excellent thing is that at the top, the Marshall London has two 3.5mm stereo audio jacks giving two different tunes at once or even enable the user to listen to a stereo sound with someone watching the video on the handset together.
The handset would be running the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop which has built-in custom music apps like LoopStack, DJApp and even allow you record four tracks independently. The handset is expected to come to the market in August 17th for a pricing of $585. Leave us your comment as to what do you think about this unique handset.
