Android Wear is open source, and Motorola craves design to be as well. A few weeks back, Motorola started a contest that asked developers and designers to compose designs for its upcoming Moto 360 smartwatch.The contest was held to determine the best face design for their new wearable. After going through 1300 submissions, the company has carved down to just 10 and is now letting the people choose the one they wanted to see on the Moto 360.
All designs are stellar, providing a subdued, modern look to the incoming wearable. We like the timeless, round design of the Moto 360, and the contest finalists do the hardware justice with their designs. From disappearing graphics to a sensorial challenge of a straight calendar on a round face, the finalists have submitted stunning designs.
