Apple iWatch: Product Release

 

The Apple Product that we all have been waiting for, Apple iWatch, will be released in early 2015 in three editions: Watch, Watch Sport and Watch Edition. The price will start at an affordable $349. The iWatch is working when it is paired with iPhones only. It is also shipped with a Stainless Steel Link Bracelet.

 

Full information for the three editions as per outline by Apple:

Apple Watch, it comes with a polished or space black stainless steel case and a wide variety choice of straps.

Apple Watch Sport, it comes with a space gray or silver anodized aluminium case and sport bands, for the sporty you!

Apple Watch Edition, it comes with an 18-karat rose or yellow gold case and a choice of straps exclusive to this collection.

Choices of Apple Watch straps:

Sport Band which available in a few colours such as black, blue, green, pink and white.

Classic Buckle which available in black and midnight blue colour.

Leather loop which available in bright blue, light brown and stone.

Modern Buckle which available in midnight blue, brown, soft pink, rose gray and bright red.

Milanese Loop which available in stainless steel only.

Lastly, Link Bracelet which available in brushed stainless steel and polished space black.

 

On closing note, Apple Watch will be available in early 2015 starting at $349 (US). It is compatible with iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus running the latest version of iOS 8. Grab it while it lasts!

Grubber hints at Apple iWatch launch next month

Looks like Apple is set to introduce its long awaited iWatch next month. A comment by John Grubber on Daring Fireball hints that Apple is announcing its iWatch next month. Grubber has a good reputation for leaking correct information regarding Apple device launches.

Grubber commented on Daring Fireball in response to an article in The Verge about Moto 360 and a part of the comment says, “Apple announces their wrist wearable thing next month.”   Of course, he clarified later on Twitter saying, “I have no idea whether Apple is planning wrist thing for September or October, just making a joke.”

However, since Apple is reportedly holding a special media event on 9th September when it is expected to launch its next gen iPhone 6, the company might also introduce its iWatch at the time.

Apple is expected to unveil its much rumored wearable device this year but the mass production of iWatch devices has been reportedly delayed and shifted from late-September to mid-/ late- November. The delay has been caused due to some challenging new software and hardware issues faced by Apple.

Apple has already registered the ‘iWatch’ trademark in several countries including Japan, Russia, Taiwan, Mexico, Colombia, Turkey and Chile. Apple has also developed a Health Book app that is expected to be available on iWatch for tracking health and fitness. The Health app would be released with iOS 8 which is expected to launch with the iPhone 6. Hopefully Apple would unveil its iWatch at the time too.

Wall Street Journal has reported that Apple iWatch is coming with different designs, shapes and sizes for the users in order to give the perfect outlook to one’s hand. From the previous rumor, we have heard that Apple is testing the 1.5” iWatch and 2.5” iWatch; you can’t avoid or put the news inside too!

However, the WSJ has confirmed from the sources that Apple iWatch will have more than 10 sensors to have better iWatch platform. On the other hand, Apple is not considering releasing 1 iWatch beta in the market to get the market ideas and accurate market audiences at all like Apple TV. Instead, Apple brand will soon release more than 1 iWatch to the market with good marketing efforts to beat the existing iWatch market. Samsung Gear Line series or Sony’s SmartWatch are some of the competitors that Apple need to face to have better market place.

In order to get the superior market and audiences, Apple is going to have the brilliant features on the iWatch. In this case, the good looking watches are not the main aim of the Apple and instead, it is looking for duplicate features of a Smartphone like health and fitness sensors. As a result, Apple is also developing Health app and SDK hit in order to get the better features including pedometer functionality, pulse rate, blood pressure consuming, and glucose meters and so on.

However, there is no specification news and rumor about Apple iWatches and the first design tip from different sources. But, Apple is planning to ship more than 10 million iWatches to the market at the end of summer to the preordered backers in different parts of the world. Moreover, the release date can be announced at any time and probably in October.
