Upcoming Asus Zenfone Selfie to have two 13MP camera with auto focus

Smartphone manufacturer Asus is reported to be coming with a selfie-centric Android handset by next month. The Taiwanese website Sogi has claimed that the upcoming handset will be called as Asus Zenfone Selfie and would feature a 13MP front-facing camera having dual LED flash. A same 13MP camera is also likely to be placed to its back and will have an added feature of laserauto-focus.

The Asus Zenfone Selfie is said to have a 5.5inch display with some unknown resolution and is likely to be announced by the 2^nd of June at the Co putex 2015 event. In addition to the new Asus Selfie, the company is also likely to showcase two new Android tablets at the Computex 2015 event most likely the ZenPad 7 and the ZenPad 8.

Asus launches its new camera centric Zenfone Zoom

Asus had some big announcements at the CES 2015 yesterday! Along with announcing one-of-its-kind Asus Zenfone 2, the company also has announced a new camera centric Zenfone Zoom smartphone. This is currently the slimmest smartphone on the planet with a 3x optical zoon facility. The 3x optical zoom is the major USP of the device and this feature is even not found in the Samsung’s recently launched K Zoom – the camera centric smartphone series from Samsung. Asus launches its new camera centric Zenfone Zoom

Asus made remarkable presence at CES 2014 in Las Vegas by launching Zenfone series smartphones. Now the CES 2015 is also rumored to introduce atleast one new Zenfone product.

The device codenamed ZC451CG has been listed by Android Police over at Bluetooth SIG revealing a brief information about its specs.

The mysterious device in question is expected to be the successor of Asus Zenfone 4. It will feature a 4.5-inch display (480 x 854p) with a  208 ppi and 1 GB of RAM. We can expect a 5 MP front camera and a 0.3 MP selfie camera powered by 2,100 mAh battery. It will be running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS based on ZenUI interface.
