Samsung announces its Wireless Level On and Bluetooth Level Link headphones

The Level On Wireless handset has got a touchpad on the side in order to control the music playback, feature like S Voice and also calls. The Level On headphones have got an supra-aural design meaning they sit on your ears instead of around them.  This wireless headphones would connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth.

The second headphone is called as the Level Link. Earin Building The World"s First Truely Cordless Bluetooth Headphone

As opposed to what the name implies, wireless headsets were not truly cordless until now. But thanks to Earin, a group of engineers based out of Sweden, we now have the smallest Bluetooth or wireless in-ear headphones called Earin headphone with no cable whatsoever. Talk about simplicity and portability.

Earin have already built the first prototype of the headphone and are now running a crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter to kick off their project. Predictably, it didn’t take more than 3 days from the launch date before the campaign raises £552,751 (as of writing this) exceedingly surpassing their initial goal of collecting a fund of £179,000.

The group claims to have built the smallest wireless earbuds in the world and aims to provide a truly wireless, hassle-free music experience. “Earin is the smallest, wireless earbuds available on the market. Two earbuds that together function as one Bluetooth headphone; no cables, no attachments just magically small delivering high quality audio sound.”, said Earin on their Kickstarter page.

When the final product is released, the headphones will consist of a pair of two earbuds totally weighing only 5 grams as well as a capsule for storing and charging the pairs. The pair of earbuds will have foam tips with different sizes and the capsules will be as small as a key holder. On top of that, the earbuds have ‘Concha lock’ holding them tight on the ear so there are no worries of losing them. The capsule can be recharged using a USB cable that come with the product.

The only issue with the in-ear headphones seems to be that they don’t have microphones. But they are designed with music listeners in mind. And if you’re looking a product that is simple and easy to handle, you’ll like that fact anyway. “No unnecessary functionality has been added. No sensors, no lights and no microphone, that’s right – no microphone! Not because we couldn’t but because we wouldn’t! Earin is for music lovers – and music lovers only.”, said Earin.

Connecting the headsets with your smartphone is easy. All you have to do is pair your smartphone with the Earin Bluetooth headset once, and just fire up your media player anytime you want to listen to some music on your phone. As the earbuds are automatically charged when stored inside the capsule, they will be ready for listening to music as soon they’re out of the capsule. Just open up your favorite music on your phone and enjoy high quality sound.

Earin specs

The Earin team, which started the project a year and a half ago, has now been able to build their first prototype and plan on getting into the manufacturing phase by December 2014. The final product is expected to hit the market by January 2015 with a retail price of £159.

If you want to back this project, you can visit the Kickstarter page here. You’ll enjoy different early bird special rewards. The minimum amount to pledge is £1 and if you pledge £119 or more, you’ll enjoy a £40 off special discount when the product hits the market.
