CulCharge is a small device which measured at 2.1 inch long and weighs only 38 gram. It is made by a start up company in Bratislava, Solvakia and it is currently being crowdfunded in Indiegogo campaign. The device has achieved its initial target by a comfortable margin as it is supported by Slovak Telekom which is a branch of Deutsche Telekom. For backers, it is priced at $49 for two units while the retail price is expected to by $70. Unfortunately, it does not include shipping fee.

CulCharge powerbank unfortunately is not capable to fully charged smartphones such as iPhone 6 or Galaxy S6. The battery size is about 1000 mAh. For iPhone 6, it is estimated that it can only charge up to 55 percent whereas for Galaxy S6, it can charge up to 39 percent. The device itself is charged by connecting it to the USB port of your laptop or PC. On top of that, it provides an additional data cable functionality to sync your computer and mobile device apart from being a powerbank and a charger.

There are two version of CulCharge, one is the Lightning model which is designed for iPhone and the other one is a microUSB model for Android/Windows/BlackBerry devices. It boasts that it can be recharged up to 500 cycles.

CulCharge guarantees 100 percent money back in case if it does not deliver what it promises. The delivery is estimated to start in December 2015.

Our iPhone and iPad are capable enough to produce a good quality of pictures. However, it is even better if we can take a DSLR photo quality from our iPhone or iPad. Now, it is possible by attaching DxO One to the lightning port of iPhone and iPad. DxO One is a pocket size camera that has its own lens and sensor to take DSLR quality of images. Your iPhone or iPad is used as its viewfinder as well as to control it.

DxO One body is made of aluminium with a 32-mm aspheric lens and variable six-blade iris with a 1-inch 20.2-MP CMOS BSI sensor. The iris can be adjusted from F/1.8 to F/11. The shutter speed varies from 15s t o1/8000s and the ISO ranging from 100 to 51200.

There are a few mode of shooting that you can choose from which includes full auto, full manual, 1080p/30fbps as well as 720p/120fbps video. Unfortunately, DxO One is able to do digital zoom up to 3x the original size. The device is running on internal lithium-ion battery which is capable to capture 200 photos for each charge.

DxO One has two types of storage, internal and external storage. The images can be stored in RAW format in the external storage which is using microSD card whereas JPEG format is stored in the internal storage and can be easily shared to the social media. On top of that, the pictures also can be captured in SuperRaw format which four RAW frames captured in quick succession and combined into one image in PC or Mac.

With a lot of new gadgets launched in a year, it is possible for a person to carry multiple gadgets at the same time. For example, a person might be carrying an iPhone, iPad, Battery Charger, Earphone, Bluetooth Earpiece at the same time and he would need a bag to carry them at the same time. He would need a Baggizmo.

Baggizmo comes with a lot of small compartments which promises to be smart for the user. Each of the compartments is connected to a well hidden cable passages. Nokia is leaning to German Carmarkers to Buy for Their Maps Unit

Nokia is looking for companies to buy their HERE mapping unit. It is reported that the price tag for selling the unit is for $4 billion with final bid due this week. It seems like the Finnish company is leaning towards to a group of German car manufacturers such as Audi, Daimler, BMW as the buyers. However, nothing can be confirmed as of now. Nokia even could be selling the unit for different bidder.

There are a lot of companies which are interested in buying the unit. One of them is Baidu Inc which previously had teamed up with Apax and Uber Technologies Inc. Baidu Inc is the largest search engine in China and the company may need the mapping technology in case if they want to expand their business in China. Other companies include Tencent Holdings Ltd (China), NavInfo Co. and EQT Partners AB (Swedish) as well as Hellman & Friedman, Silver Lake Management and Thoma Bravo. The last three companies are U.S private equity firms. It seems like even Microsoft and Apple is also interested in buying the mapping unit.

There is no official announcement from Nokia regarding this matter. Nokia shares fell 1.4 percent to 6.24 euros at 11:12 a.m. in Helsinki.

BlackBerry Venice Rumored to Offer Android and BB10 Version

BlackBerry announced the company’s new product in this year’s MWC (Mobile World Congress) which was held in Barcelona in March. The new product is called BlackBerry Venice. It is rumored that BlackBerry Venice will come with two versions, Android and BB10 OS.

BlackBerry Venice is reported to operate on 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with 1.8GHz hexa-core CPU, 3GB of RAM and two cameras, the front camera is having 18MP while the back camera is having 5MP. The display screen is measured 5.4-inch with curved edges, similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and a resolution of 1440 x 2560.  On top of that, the device will be featuring a sliding down keyboard.

The processor that is going to be used by BlackBerry Venice is rumored to be the same with the one that is used for LG G4. The reason on why LG G4 is using this processor is that the updated version of octa-core Snapdragon 810 is not available yet.

With BlackBerry Venice, hopefully, it will boost up the sales figure for BlackBerry again since there are still a lot of business users who prefer to use BlackBerry and there are a lot of Android users who still prefer to use a physical keyboard rather the on-screen keyboard.

There is no further confirmation whether BlackBerry is going to use full Android version as offered by Google or the company is going to create another OS version which is based on Android. BlackBerry Venice is rumored to be released in November 2015.

Adobe recently released its new Photoshop Mix along with three other Android – free apps

The Adobe Photoshop is one of the most widely used photo editing tools in the world today. Now the company, whose developers were working since the past few days under a codenamed Project Rigel, has arrived with its new photo editing app for Android. The company has released its new Adobe Photoshop Mix app along with three more apps that are centered around graphic design. These three are Adobe Shape CC, Adobe Brush CC, and Adobe Color CC.

However, it has to be noted that these are not standalone apps. To use them, you will first have to Adobe’s Creative Cloud services. The newly announced Photoshop Mix offers an improved way of editing images. These includes some basic tuning, cropping or even mixing to or more photos on the board. You can see these features in the images at the bottom.

Taking a look at the other apps, the Adobe Shape CC allows you to take images with objects and then easily edit it through vector graphics from it. Adobe Brush CC will allow you to snap a picture through your handset’s camera and then transform it into a custom brush which can be used afterwards in full-blown Photoshop and Illustrator. The third app is the Adobe Color CC, an app that lets you take an image and later create custom palette by analyzing the taken image. Check the below links to download the apps.

Newly leaked images shows the Samsung Galaxy A8 to be the company’s thinnest smartphone

Well, the much rumored upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8 has leaked in full images which shows it to be probably the thinnest ever handset from the Korean tech giant. From the images it can be seen that the Galaxy A8 follows the recent design pattern of most of Samsung flagships and seem to have a metal framing to its sides. What will be more surprising will be the dimensions of the device which show it 157.7 x 76 x 5.9mm weighing just 140 grams. This would be the slimmest device from the entire Samsung camp till now.

In addition to just the images, we also have got some information regarding the specs for the device. The Samsung Galaxy A8 is expected to have either a 5.7 or a 5.5inch super AMOLED screen with full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

The handset will be having a Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset supported with 2GB of RAM memory. The device will have a built-in 16GB of storage along with a provision of microSD card slot for expandable memory. To its back there would be a 16MP primary camera while its front would be having a 5MP secondary camera. The device will be running the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop. The battery capacity of the handset is expected to be around 3,050mAh.

However, there is no information regarding the launching of the handset.
