Microsoft have applied for a patent application with the name Wearable Behavior-Based Vision System.These are basically augmented reality smart glasses just like Google Glass which in addition to just recognizing objects also predicts their behavior. The new Microsoft glasses would be able to recognize a car, determine the direction of its movement and would even inform the glass wearer to any possible threat posed out by the car.
The excellent part of the glasses would be they would be able to merge virtual and real world. This means that if you are playing a virtual game at home, the glasses would recognize real world obstacles like table or chair and show it on the screen so that you can avoid them.
Well, we would certainly like to see this Google Glass competitor arriving soon into the market.
