The much rumored Apple iPad Air 2 that is awaiting its announcement this Thursday on October 16 is once again in news with much of its hardware parts getting leaked in snaps. The Apple iPad Air 2 that is tipped to have a Apple A8X chipset has now been photographed with this new SoC.
Apart from just the complete logic board of the tablet, other parts such as glass screen cover, Home Button with Touch ID and other audio control components have also been photographed. The other A8X variant of the Apple chipset like the A6X and the A5X is supposed to give a better GPU performance. The Apple iPad Air 2 is also tipped to have a powerful Retina HD display with an expected sharper display than the existing 2048×1536 pixels. The device would be running the iOS 8.1 Beta on-board.
In addition to offer better chipset, the RAM for the device has now been increased to 2GB that will suffice to some heavy multi-tasking on-board. The Apple iPad Air 2 is tipped to be very thin with just 7.5mm of thickness, with 720p FaceTime camera to its front and the latest released Apple Pay on-board. The storage options for the device would be 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
