Samsung Galaxy S6 Rumored to Come With Improved Display Panel

Samsung is rumoured to make a few radical changes to Samsung Galaxy line starting from its next release. Dubbed Project Zero, this might be the biggest overhaul in the design and the design overhaul might be extremely radical. Samsung is rumoured that the firm could utilize its YOUM brand of flexible displays for S6 and have it curved to the sides, similar to the sloping panel of Note Edge but on both right and left this time.

Jerry Kang, a senior analyst at iHD Technology, said in IHS Display Analyst conference on Thursday that Galaxy S6 is to be released next year featuring a ‘dual-edged’ screen which is curved on the right and left sides. This looks like the initial design of Note Edge, it’s just that in the end, Samsung decided to slope the screen to the right only instead of the left and right side.

Based on the early look on Galaxy S6 Project Zero, it seems like the device is having a Quad HD display, Snapdragon 810 processor, a 16MP or 20MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and an upgraded 5MP front-facing shooter. The flexible display rumour of Galaxy S6 has been tossed about before which also includes the possibility of it appearing in Note 5 too although it is uncertain whether it will have a plastic or glass substrate.

It seems like it will be of bendy type and when we couple those side-sloping display rumours about Galaxy S6 and Note 5 as well as the metal elements of the new A-series of Samsung, we are excited on how the end product will look like.
