First leaked screenshots of Windows 10 for Phones shows net notification interface and settings

Last month Microsoft at an even announced that its will be working upon the unification of Widows 10 on al platforms of laptop, tablets and smartphones. The version for smartphones to be referred as Windows 10 for Phones. It also showed how the OS will look different for different devices through its switching modes. Although, it will be sharing the same kernel across all devices and there would be an common app store that would help Windows app developers to a great extent.


Now some of the screen shots showing up the technical preview of Windows 10 for Phones have been leaked confirming what Microsoft said in its presentation. In addition to the Universal tied interface, a new notification system was also seen, that too would be synced across tablets, laptops and phones. Deleting the notification will remove it from all gears. The new toggles menu shows up taps for silent mode, GPS and rudimentary settings menu. Additionally, Windows 10 for Phones is also said to include the complete mobile version for Excel, Word and PowerPoint. The Office ribbon has been downsized for smaller display. Miracast will further help in beaming presentations wirelessly to a connected printer.


The live tiles have got more color to it with providing real-time information. Users would also be able to add backgrounds besides them. Universal apps have also been in work that would work across all hardware platforms like laptops, tablets, phones wherein an interface icons and menus are to be adjusted to fit different screen scenarios like touch, small, large and so on. The technical preview for Windows 10 is likely to be available to developers this month and so we can expect more leaks coming our way. Take a look at the screenshots below.
