Samsung Galaxy S6 is planned to be formally introduced in Samsung Unpacked 2015 Event which is held on March 1. Samsung might be planning to release a variety body styles for Galaxy S6. One of the styles is similar to the design of Galaxy Note Edge.
It seems like Samsung has already started the mass producing cases for S6. From the image leaks, it is unclear whether Galaxy S6 and its edged brother are fully metal or whether it would be a unibody design. However, it is clear that the outer rims are metal, much like S5. For the Edge version, it is rumored that it would be dual-edged and the edged sides will be symmetrical. On top of that it is uses aluminum in its construction.
For the dimensions, it seems like Samsung Galaxy S6 will be 143.30mm x 70.81mm x 6.91mm. it is going to be bigger phone than Samsung Galaxy S5. Samsung Galaxy S5 measures at 142mm x 72.5mm x 8.1mm.
With the launched of the new phone, hopefully it will boost sales for Samsung. Samsung has reported its fifth consecutive quarterly decline due to the competition against Apple in the high end phone market and Xiaomi in the low end.
