Nexus 9 tipped to be unveiled tomorrow with 3rd November release date and $399 price tag

Well, the next Google tablet seems to be all set to make an arrival tomorrow officially with a release date for next month November 3^rd and is quoted to carry a price tag of $399. This next Google tablet is said to be powered with a very powerful Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset however it still remains unclear for the moment whether it would be a quad-core 32-bit version of Tegra K1 or the dual-core 64 bit version.

With the next Google mobile OS Android L expected to be coming on-board with the device it is also said that the Nexus 9 would have a 64-bit K1 dual-core Nvidia Denver CPU. Another good thing is that the Nexus 9 K1 chip comes with a 192-shader Kepler GPU which has scored pretty good results on the graphics benchmarks. The 9inch screen for the Nexus 9 is said to be having a stunning Quad HD resolution with 2560×1600 pixel resolution.

The $399 pricing might seem to have a been a bit higher looking at the $200 pricing that Google has kept for its previous Nexus 7” tablets. It might be that Google want to make its own space in high-end tablet segment and bring in a new competition in place. We hope to get the things clear in next 24 hours. Upcoming HTC Nexus 9 has just passed through FCC

It’s just a matter of couple of weeks when we get to hear the first official word from Google regarding its upcoming tablet Nexus 9 made by HTC probably along with its much rumored and much awaited flagship Nexus 6. But we all know that it’s a tradition in the tech industry that before a device goes official, it has to pass through FCC. Well, the Nexus 9 has now passed through process and we are still waiting for the Nexus 6 to get its approval from FCC.

However, the FCC listing does not give us a strong indication that this is Nexus 9, but it does state that it is an HTC tablet and as per the current status, HTC is certainly not working indigenously for a tablet of its own! This probably means that it would be non-other, but Nexus 9. FCC has also shed out some information on the specs of the device that shows it to be having a 8.9inch display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution, a 64-bit Tegra K1 SoC chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16MP of camera and the Google’s recently announced Android L on-board.  The connectivity options for the device include NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

Earlier rumrs quote the tablet to be arriving sometime in mid-October but recent rumors have claimed to be arriving as soon as this Wednesday i.e. October 8. It might happen that Google might announce the tablet on 8^th and later release it after a weeks time.
