Oppo N3 goes official with some very unique features: Specs, Official Images and Promo Video

We have been monitoring this device since days with its rumors and now the company has finally made it official as per the scheduled date. Today in Singapore, Chinese handset maker Oppo has finally declared its much awaited Oppo N3 that comes with some very unique features like a motorized swiveling camera, a multi-purpose fingerprint sensor and ultra-fast charging technology.

Looking to its specs, the device has a 5.5” touch screen display having 1080p pixel resolution and a 400ppi density. At its heart, Oppo has pumped a powerful quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset clocked at 2.5GHz. The camera has also received a significant bump with 16MP primary camera having 1.34 micrometer pixels. The camera is the major USP of the device and is a swiveling camera having a motorized mechanism and this camera tech is made in collaboration with German giant Schneider Electric. This rotating camera is capable to produce a 206 degrees turn that allows panorama images to be captured easily without moving the handset manually with hand. The camera also has a Tracking Focus feature that would allow users to keep moving object in focus.

There is also an O-Click remote control which serves as a companion device and would remotely allow to turn the camera around, take a picture and even control music from distance. Another unique feature of the device includes an fingerprint scanner that can be used as a touch pad and would allows different fingerprints to be assigned to different functions and apps giving quicker functionality to users.

Compared to the Oppo N1 the battery capacity has been reduced from 3610mAh to 3000mAh in Oppo N3. However, the company has used its own VOOC technology that allows to charge the handset to 75% in just 30 minute time span. With a smaller screen and bit lower battery, the Oppo N3 has gone to much lighter and thinner compared to its predecessor Oppo N1.

The handset would be powered with the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat version skinned with Oppo’s own Color OS v2.0i that offers some enhanced user experience, floating notifications, gesture based controls and much more. Two New Devices of Oppo Launch in October 29

Finally, we have got some news on Oppo’s N3, the new Smartphone of the mobile brand. The teasers are observing and writing many things about the upcoming Smartphone. The grand event of Oppo will be held on October 29.

We have already seen the leaked pictures and features of the Oppo’s N3 that have been published by the teasers. At last, Oppo confirms that the new N3 will be come with lithium-aluminum alloy body while other versions of N3 will be available of stainless steel.

The lithium-aluminum Oppo N3 with 16 Mega pixels ½.3-inch sensor along with smart camera rotation will be a good device. However, the latest Snapdragon 805 chipset is powering the 5.9-inch device with 1080p display. The fingerprint scanner feature is present with 3GB RAM at only $700, however, the price is not specified yet by the officials.

Oppo N3 leaks reveal high price tag, rotating camera and 5.5” 1080p display

Oppo N3 is slated to launch on October 29 and Chinese shops are already getting ready to welcome it. They are putting up hand-painted signs in their windows showing details about Oppo’s upcoming flagship .

China has numerous brick and mortar stores selling mobiles and they have already started accepting pre-orders for the Oppo N3. The hand-painted signs in these shops display various details about the smartphone including its display, camera and price tag.

We can make out from the picture that the Oppo’s new handset will have a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p.  It seems that this handset won’t have a QHD version like the company’s Find 7 smartphone. Oppo N3 is also slated to have a 16MP motorized rotating camera. The camera has earlier been seen in a teaser image. It  is a 1/2.3” motorized camera that can rotate 206 degrees and can act as both the rear and the front camera.

The Oppo N3 smartphone comes with a hefty price tag of 4928 Yuan that is equivalent to about US $700 or €550. We don’t know the details about the other specs which would justify such a high price tag because it is almost twice the price of Xiaomi M4, IUNI U3 and Meizu MX4. But we do know that the smartphone will arrive in two types of body materials, Stainless Steel and Lithium-Aluminum alloy.

Well, the official launch of Oppo N3 at Singapore is just about a week away and we will know the remaining details about it quite soon.

Even as the Chinese mobile maker Oppo is getting ready to launch its latest handset the Oppo N3 on October 29, the rumor mills are still going strong. This time, images of Oppo N3 in three color options – pink, white and cyan have been leaked. It has already been confirmed by the company that Oppo N3 will come in two types of body materials – Lithium-Aluminum Alloy and Stainless Steel, but it is not known if the above mentioned three colors will be available in both the versions.

 

Oppo has posted on Twitter and Facebook informing about the event it is holding on October 29 in Singapore for the launch of Oppo N3 saying, “As OPPO prepares for the next great step, Singapore opens its arms for the N3 launch! #OPPON3.“

The company had released Oppo N1 last year but it seems that it is skipping the next version N2 (unless we consider Ni Mini as N2) and jumping directly to N3. The specs of Oppo N3 were leaked last month.  The N3 is also rumored to sport a 5.9-inch 1080p display like its predecessor the Oppo N1, but it will have the latest Snapdragon 805 CPU and 3GB RAM. Other specs include 13 megapixel camera capable of 206 degree rotation, with dual LED flash.

Anyways, we will know more details at the October 29 Oppo event where the Oppo N3 is scheduled to make its debut. So stay truned.

Oppo N3 confirmed to arrive in two body materials of lithium-aluminum alloy and stainless steel

Well, the Oppo N1 successor i.e. the upcoming Oppo N3 is staying much in news. Recently, we spotted the handset’s press images along with rumor claiming it to be made of aerospace material. The latter has pretty much turned out to be true as the recent reports coming from the company itself show that the upcoming Oppo N3 is likely to be made of extra-light weight aluminum alloy used in the aerospace industry and would also have the swiveling camera aboard just like the Oppo N1.

However, this would not be the only version of the device. The lithium-aluminum alloy made Oppo N3 would serve to be extremely lightweight while the device is also expected to be arriving in another stainless steel material body that would give it extra toughness and durability at the expene of light weight.

We have yet to hear about the hardware of the device in terms of display and baked memory and chipsets. The device is likely to go official next month in October and we expect such news to be arriving pretty soon.

The new Oppo N3 has been the subject of discussion that has leaked numerous of photos before. Two pictures were leaked on the cylinder shaped camera along with the swiveling snapper photo that looked like Oppo N1’s designed. The recent leaked picture of the n Oppo N3 shows the surfaced and design of the new Oppo.

The new Oppo N3’s screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 matches with the Oppo N1 but with a larger display of 5.9-inch and 373ppi pixel density. At the same time, the camera sensor will be 13 mega pixels with 206 degrees along with 3GB RAM and 805 Snapdragon CPU.

However, there is some variation of the Oppo N3 because it offers durable building body and lightweight with Aluminium Lithium material. At the same time, this is stainless steel body that considering the version of Apple iPhone 6 Plus Smartphone too!

You can expect to have the Oppo N3 in the upcoming month’s Oppo event and more clear details.

Oppo N3 is probably the next device in making from the Chinese manufacturer. Few days back there was an official teaser of the handset released by the company along with some of its press images. Now with the launch date closing in, the rumors for the device hae started growing bigger. The recent report coming from the industry suggest that the Oppo N3 would be built with a toughened special material.

The company has itself teased that its upcoming flagship would be made of “aerospace grade metal” material that will give the handset an optimum balance between overall sturdiness and weight. Now out many metal materials used in the aerospace industry, we believe that Oppo would arrive with that particular material which is light-weight and not so heavy.

However, according to rumors from other sources, it is also been said that Oppo is preparing to incorporate a new cooling system to its upcoming N3. The reports show that the most heat consuming material baked in the handset would be covered with a special kind of material that would be responsible to take away extra heat from these materials. The above image shows a glimpse about the usage of this technology. This would certainly be a new technology that we would get to see being brought to smartphones. The Oppo N3 is likely to be able to shoot 4K videos as well! We hope Oppo brings this new and novel feature to its upcoming Oppo N3.

Oppo N3 is quite making news these days and is probably the immediate next device coming from the Oppo camp. The company has recently released a teaser image confirming the name of the device which shows it to have scheduled an event in Singapore for the official launch of its camera-centric smartphone. The teaser confirms that the smartphone would carry the Oppo N3 as its official name.

In addition to the teaser few press images for the device have been leaked by GSMArena that shows it to be hosting a rotating camera just similar to the Oppo N1. What appears from the press images is that Oppo N3 would likely have a dual LED flash. The image shows the phablet to be quite slimmer with the rotating camera module being placed at the top.

However, other specifications for the device regarding its chipset, display resolution and other things are yet not clear for the moment. With the official launch day closing in we expect more info coming soon.
