Sharp Launches Aquos ZETA SH-03G Which Comes with Slow-Motion Video and LED Lights

Sharp is launching a new smartphone which is definitely better than the other smartphones that the company has launched until now. The smartphone will be named Aquos ZETA SH-03G.  The body will be made of razor bezel and it will be smaller than Samsung Galaxy S6. However, it features much larger 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD screen.

The new smartphone will be using its own IGZO technology and it consumes low power as the refresh rate is low when still images are displayed. A 3000 mAH is going to be enough to be used for two days before it needs to be charged again. On top of that, the device will be running on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Aquos ZETA SH-03G will come with a 13MP camera with OIS and wide f/1.9 aperture and GR certified lens by Ricoh. The camera is capable to shot a slow-mo video, 480p done at 210fpbs and interpolated to 2100fps which allows you to slow down typical 30fps footage 70 times.  Furthermore, it will support DTS Dolby surround sound, fingerprint scanner at the back and the LED embedded on the hexagonal corners on the side which you can use to set the color of your music or notification according to your preference.

The device also comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop and a one-handed mode which can minimize the whole interface for easier usage. On top of that the smartphone is waterproof. After knowing all those good stuff, we only hope that the device will be available outside Japan.

Sharp AQUOS Crystal with edgeless 5” display launched on Sprint

Sharp has announced its new AQUOS Crystal handset which comes with a 5” edgeless display. Yes. Its right as the smartphone is considered to have no sides with only top bezels. The handset actual measures 5 inches in height and 2.6 inches in width and is very compact that can be compared to the Moto G. With this, the AQUOS Crystal is considered to offer the best screen-to-body ratio with 78.21% of the front occupied by display.

Looking to its specs, the handset offers a 5” display with 720p resolution and is LTE capable powered with quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The display of the device is made with Sharp’s IGZO technology that makes some very efficient use of its battery juice. The device hosts a 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and runs the latest available Android 4.4.2 KitKat on-board. The battery capacity of the device is 2040mAh. The Sharp AQUOS Crystal comes with Harmon Kardon sound effects in headset mode supporting “Clar-Fi” to restore the lost information in compression, “LiveStage” streaming and native compatibility with Harmon Kardon ONYX Studio Bluetooth speakers. The Sharp AQUOS Crystal is available on a two-year-contract for $149.00 on prepaid with Virgin or Boost. The handset will release in USA next week on August 29^th and the pre-orders for it have already started. However, for people not willing to have it on Sprint, can grab it for an MSRP of just $239.99.

The handset being a product of Sharp-SoftBank collaboration, Sprint will inherit a service called App Pass to its AQUOS Crystal. This is specifically a premium app renting option adding $4.99/month to the bill. This service will offer apps like OfficeSuite 7 Pro, Camera Zoom FX, Minuum Keyboard, Color and Draw for Kids, CamScanner as well games from the much famous Gameloft. In all, what we can say is that is that the AQUOS Crystal is certainly an excellent handset with superior features at a very reasonable price.
