AT&T Has Released two new Samsung LTE tablets online

AT&T has started offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 from today via online and retail stores.

Samsung applies the same logic to its tablet lineup as it does to its smartphone offerings; make as many as possible and distinguish by display size, specs and S Pen stylus. This idea has paid off in the smartphone world and the company has promised to put that same spotlight on its tablets in 2014.

The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 resolution display with a pixel density of 149 pixels per inch (ppi). The slate is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S5 processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. It includes 16 GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is packing a 3-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter for video chat. Its wireless connectivity options consist of a 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS. The tablet runs Android 4.4.2 and has a nonremovable mammoth 6,800 mAh battery, which AT&T claims will provide up to 9 hours of battery life.

When Samsung unveiled the 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro, it went all out by using its largest tablet display size to date of 12.2-inches, which has a high resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a pixel density of 247 pixels per inch (ppi). The Note Pro 12.2 is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a very healthy 3 GB of RAM. It will ship with 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64 GB microSD cards.

The tablet runs Android 4.4.2 along with Samsung’s Magazine UX and it has an 8-megapixel rear camera with 4x digital zoom and 2-megapixel front facing camera that can record 1080p Full HD video. It will of course have a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. AT&T claims its powerful 9,500 mAh battery will last an entire day. Its included S Pen stylus allows for a more natural “pen and paper” feel in the digital age.

The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 will be available for zero dollars down and 24 monthly payments of $24 or for $379.99 with a new 2-year contract. The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will cost you $799 if you sign on the dotted line for two years, or you can put down $45 a month.
