Cue Health Tracker connectable to smartphone, pre-order for $199

Cue health tracker helps you to track your health at home.  You can check for inflammation, flu, Vitamin D, testosterone and fertility at home through your smartphone. The device enables you to track the five key aspects of your health at a “molecular level”.

Cue-1

How does Cue work?

  • Cue health tracker is basically a device that analyses the sample placed inside the cartridge.

  • Place the tracking cartridge inside the Cue device, which then lights up and prompts the user to place the sample.

  • Collect a sample of saliva, nasal fluid or blood on the sample wand.

  • Slide the sample wand into the cartridge.

  • The Cue Health Tracker senses the sample wand and analyses the sample within a few minutes.

  • After the analysis is complete, the data is transmitted to your smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0.

  • The device then prompts you to remove and dispose the cartridge.

The Cue smartphone app will present the results in the smartphone in a simple, easy format like whether you have inflammation, what is the level of Vitamin D or testosterone in your body, or when you are ovulating. The app will also give alerts and recommendations which you can follow and keep your body fit. It prompts you to go out, exercise or eat certain kind of foods depending upon the type of deficiency observed.

Cue-3

Cue saves a lot of time and many visits to the doctor. Cue health tracker hasn’t yet got FDI clearance but it is available on pre-order under “Investigational Device Exemption”. Customers who pre-order the device will be “invited to take part in a usability study and provide feedback data” which will help the company to get FDA approval.

The Cue health tracker is expected to launch in early 2015. First 1000 people who pre-order will get the device at a discount, for just $149. After that, the remaining pre-order devices will be available for $199. All pre-order buyers will get one free bonus cartridge pack. After that, the cartridges will be available at the cost of $20 for a pack of 5 and flu-test cartridges will cost $30 for a pack of 3.
