It’s still a month far from Google I/O, but they’re still updating apps.There has been an update in Google Maps and upgraded to version 8.1.0 .Speaking of which, Terrain view has been brought back ,earlier which was removed July 2013, when the app got an overhaul.
Terrain view provides the elevation view of geographic features like hills, mountains,, cliffs, which might prove useful to us in case of riding such hilly areas. Hence, Terrain view can’t be classified under a new add-on.
The update is still under development and is a staged update, .So,it will be matter of time to reach to consumer’s devices. If you are curious to install the APK ,one can get it from this link.
