iPhone 6 with 4.7 inch display to undergo mass-production in July, 5.5” to arrive later in August

Well, the iPhone 6 is the much awaited device from the Cupertino giant on date and more specifically because this time Apple is likely to break the jinx and venture into larger phablet size displays. However, Apple is still going to keep its conventional 4.7” display in place which means that there will be two models released by the company under the iPhone 6 tag. Recent reports from Digitimes show that the 4.7” iPhone 6 is in the final stage of preparation and is likely to go in mass-production this July as per the “sources from the upstream supply chain.” However, the larger phablet version with 5.5” display will hit the conveyor belts later in the month of August. Moreover, we have recently spotted a news which shows that the iPhone 6 would be launched this September.

Foxconn Electronics is considered to have a major share in the iPhone’s production with Pegatron that has 30% of the orders for the 4.7” inch iPhone 6. However, a 4” iPhone is likely to being kept produced and as per an insider report, Wistron is considered as the third OEM manufacturer and looking to the fact that Wistron is currently assembling the iPhone 5c, it seems that the Cupertino giant wants to keep the low-end iPhone solution open at its end.

However, earlier reports have claimed that the 4” iPhones will be the major game players in the market may be because of the fact that there are some hurdles in producing the 5.5” model. Well let us see how things move ahead and we will keep you updated wit more confirmations as they come our way.
