After Samsung Z1 was sold for a millions units, Samsung is releasing the next model under the same line, Samsung Z3. Similar to Z1, Z3 will also be running on Tizen OS and will have some enhancements over Z1.

According to a reliable source, SamMobile, Samsung Z3 will featue a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720 x 1280 inches and is running on a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730S processor clocked at 1.3GHZ, a 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, a 5MP selfie camera as well as 8MP rear camera with LED flash. On top of that it also supports dual SIM. As for the physical appearance, it will be weighing at 140 grams and measured at 141.5 x 70 x 9.5 mm. Z3 will include a 2600mAh battery size. If you compared this to the previous Z1, it is definitely better as Z1 only have a 4-inch display screen with 480 x 800 pixels.

Samsung Z3 is recently imported to India as it is likely going to be released in India first before it is released to other countries for testing purposes as well as for partnership events. Z3 is planned to be officially announced in the end of July during the Indian Tizen Developer Summit.

Samsung is Releasing Samsung Z3 Which Comes with Tizen OS

Apart for releasing Android smartphone, apparently Samsung is also releasing smartphone which is running on Tizen OS.  Tizen is an operating system which is based on Linux and targeted at a very wide range of devices including smartphones, tablets, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) devices, smart TVs and many others. It is a project within Linux foundation and is governed by Technical Steering Group (TSG) which includes Samsung and Intel among others.

The first generation of Tizen OS smartphone from Samsung is Samsung Z1. It is only released in a certain locations worldwide with one of them is India. In order to attract more consumers, on top of the cheap pricing (cost less than $100), Samsung includes something called Joy Box which is a free entertainment pack containing movies, TV and music. Samsung Z1 is a 4-inch touchscreen with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution and it is running on a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 768MB RAM and a 4GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 64GB using a MicroSD card.

With Samsung Z1 selling pretty well, Samsung is releasing the next version of Tizen smartphone falls withing “Z” line, which is Samsung Z3 or also known as SM-Z300H. There is not many information on Samsung Z3 released to the public, however, according to some rumors, it comes with a 5-inch display size, quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable storage space, 5MP rear camera and 2MP selfie camera. On top of that, it will be pre-installed with Tizen 3.0.
