Samsung Galaxy Core Prime with LTE connectivity leaks in images

After announcing the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime last month, it seems there is yet another selfie-centric Prime handset from the Korean tech giant and this time it would arrive with LTE connectivity. Recently, several version of the Galaxy Core Prime have passed through TENNA with model numbers SM-G3606, G3608 and G3609 alll of which are dual-SIM and offering TDD-LTE connectivity. Two of these models are supposed to have support for international LTE connectivity. Indian online retailer Flipkart has already kept the handset on pre-order with some more better images for the device. However, the listed handset doesn’t have support for LTE version and offers only one SIM slot. Please note that these specs have yet to be confirmed by Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy Core is thin with 8.8mm of thickness and packs a 4.5” PLS LCS display with WVGA screen resolution. The device is powered with a quad-core 1.3GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and runs the latest available Android 4.4 KitKat on-board. The primary camera of the device is 5MP capacble of shooting 1080p videos while its secondary camera is 2MP. The device comes with 8GB of internal expandable storage and a 2000mAh of battery. The Indian variation of the Galaxy Core Prime is priced for INR 8500 roughly making it to $140.
