The brand has selected MWC 2015 in Barcelona as the unveil date for the new smartphone. Last year, Samsung also announced the previous model Galaxy S5 on the occasion. LG and Sony are also decided to announce their next flagship on March.

Samsung has started to send the invitations to the respected people to unveil the device. This is the newly redesigned smartphone with “Operation Zero.” In addition, the invitation comes with Unpacked 2015 Logo of Samsung with the date. Samsung Galaxy S Edge could also be introduced at the event.

Rumors reported that Samsung Galaxy S6 could come with a 5inch screen and powered by octa-core Exynos 7420/Snapdragon 810 CPU with 3GB of RAM. However, the back side camera could be 20 mega pixels while 5 mega pixels camera for selfie. 1440 x 2560 should be the screen resolution that comes with IP certification against water and dust.

6 common problems with the Samsung Galaxy S5 and how to fix them

Samsung Galaxy S5 is one of the most wanted phones right now but it seems that users of the Samsung Galaxy S5 have been experiencing some problems with their phones. These problems are very rare so don’t worry of you already own one of these or if you want to buy one in the future. Chances that you will experience these problems are quite slim. Here are some of those problems and ways to fix them.

The Phone Won’t Turn On

If the phone won’t turn on then try on of the following:

• Make sure that the battery is securely inserted into the phone. The pins on the phone should be making contact with the battery’s terminals.


• Turn the phone off and on again.


• If the phone turns on then go to Settings > Accessibility > Vision > Dark Screen. Make sure that Dark Screen has been turned off.


• Remove the protective cover of the phone to make sure that no buttons are being pressed and no excessive pressure is being put on the phone.


• Backup your files and try using Factory Reset to reset the phone (explained at the end of this article).

The Phone Does Not Charge Or It Charges Very Slowly

If the phone is not charging or if it charges very slowly, try one of the following:

• Make sure to use a standard wall charger and the correct USB wire. It is best to use the stuff that came with the phone.


• Check to see if the power outlet is working by using other power outlets.


• Check to see if the USB cable is working by connecting the USB wire to a computer. If the phone starts charging then the wire is probably okay. In that case there’s something wrong with the wall charger, get it replaced.

The WiFi Stops Working

Wifi problems are pretty common on many smartphones. If a Wifi related problem happens with your Samsung Galaxy S5, then follow these instructions.

• Turn the wireless router and your phone off and on again.


• Your phone should not be in power saver mode.


• Go to Settings > Wifi. From there, select the Wifi connection’s name that you want to connect to and choose forget. Now connect to this connection again, you will need the wifi password this time.


• Try a different wifi network to make sure if there’s a problem with your other wifi connection.

Bluetooth Is not Working

Some users have had problems connecting their Samsung Galaxy S5 to their car or to bluetooth headphones:

• Go to Apps > Settings > Application Manager > Bluetooth > select Force Stop. Now choose to Clear cache and then restart the phone.


• Make sure that your car bluetooth or bluetooth headphones are really working.

It has already been told that the Samsung’s VR headset will be introduced by the company at IFA, which will be held in Berlin in September. The photo showed that the phone can be kept in one place through a lid.

The Samsung Gear VR has been in the news for quite a time now. The features of the device include OLED display and touchpad. The rear camera of the Smartphone captures video images which are then forwarded by the phone to the Gear VR. The leaked picture showed the Samsung Galaxy S5 next to the device.

The leaked photo also showed a Gamepad controller by Samsung. While the gamepad can be used to interact with the virtual reality, sensors are also included which can convert the hands movements into motion. The gamepad is much like an older version of the Playstation controller.
